Ca-based Ambience Healthcare secures $70million in series B round funding. Leading the round, which raised the total to $100 million, were Kleiner Perkins and OpenAI Startup Fund, with participation from Memorial Hermann, Andreessen Horowitz, and Optum Ventures, current investors.

The money will be used by the company to grow both its operations and its clientele. Ambience, an AI operating system comprising a suite of applications, was founded in 2020 by Mike Ng and Nikhil Buduma. Its goals are to reduce clinician burnout, increase system efficiency, and facilitate high-quality treatment.
