Artemis, a technology startup innovating data preparation to address data quality challenges raises $1.5million in pre-seed funding.

Raven Indigenous Capital Partners led the investment, and additional angel investors, Telegraph Hill Capital, and Ripple Ventures also participated.

With the money, the company wants to move faster towards its goal of making data preparation simpler and data cleansing more accessible to both technical and non-technical people.

Josh Grey and William Shi founded Artemis in 2022. It is a platform that lets teams create, experiment, and use autonomous AI agents to perform data-cleaning activities. These agents are easily deployable in a data warehouse of an organisation and may be quickly manipulated using a drag-and-drop canvas.

Through proof-of-concept engagements with businesses like Matter Inc., a growth platform for e-commerce brands, and AlayaCare, a worldwide technology platform for home and community-based care, the platform is already having a significant positive influence on the B2B e-commerce and healthcare industries.
